Softball Recap: Mission Takes a Loss

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Mission was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Washington Eagles, falling 34-1. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Washington, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mission will take on Galileo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they will challenge Balboa at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
