Football Recap: Logan Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Logan had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 2-4 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They snuck past the Ogden Tigers with a 20-14 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Grizzlies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Easton Favero was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 82 yards, and also threw for 121 yards and one TD while completing 73.3% of his passes. Those 82 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Logan didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Ogden to a completion percentage of just 45%. The Grizzlies have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.59 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.59 in their last three games.

As for Ogden, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. The match marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Ogden took the loss, they still got scores from Blake Weston and Gavin Shreve.

Looking ahead, Logan will face off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ogden, they will host Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
