Volleyball Recap: Person Extends Winning Streak to Four

Person came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Williams Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Person took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

Person's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Fuller, who had ten digs and two aces. Fuller is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Ragan Ward was another key player, getting six aces.

Person's record now sits at 19-3. As for Williams, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Person will take on rival Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Williams is set to square off against their familiar foe Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
