Basketball Recap: Pineville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pineville was the 60-37 winner over McCreary Central when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Pineville Mountain Lions lost to the McCreary Central Raiders at home by a 89-70 margin on Friday.

Pineville's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4. As for McCreary Central, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Pineville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-50 win against Oneida Baptist Institute on the 28th. As for McCreary Central, they will look to defend their home court on January 3, 2025 against Casey County at 7:30 p.m.
