Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilton). They had just enough and edged out the New Milford Green Wave 4-3 on Saturday. That's two games straight that Wilton have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Wilton and bumps their season record up to 8-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two contests. As for New Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1.

Wilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Milford, they will host Bunnell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bunnell's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
