Basketball Recap: Oak Hall Takes a Loss

Oak Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Branford Buccaneers. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 57-47 to them when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oak Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Branford, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Oak Hall won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trenton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. As for Branford, they are taking a road trip to face off against Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
