Newberry beats Fairfield Central for their third straight win

Recap: Newberry Bulldogs vs. Fairfield Central Griffins
The Newberry Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took a serious blow against Fairfield Central, falling 35-7. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Fairfield Central was led to victory by Roger Burns and Cameron Mcmillon. Burns picked up 157 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Mcmillon threw for 394 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Kaden Diggs did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 85 receiving yards.
Newberry's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fairfield Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which somehow isn't as good as their 8-2 record this season.
Newberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fairfield Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
