Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Douglas Trojans.

Phoenix's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Douglas, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Phoenix wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Umpqua on the 6th. As for Douglas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Coquille on the 6th.
