Softball Recap: Algonac Takes a Loss

Algonac fell victim to Utica and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chieftains, falling 9-0. The Muskrats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Algonac now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Utica, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-15.

Coming up, Algonac will be playing at home against Lake Orion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Utica, they will head out on the road to challenge Royal Oak at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Ravens have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.85 runs per game on average), something the Chieftains will no doubt try to take advantage of.
