Volleyball Recap: Trinidad Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinidad lost against Monte Vista back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Miners came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-11.

Maya Morales paced Trinidad's offense, picking up three kills. Morales got some help from Elia Bowman and her five assists. Finally, Morales was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Leading Monte Vista to victory were Reminee Mascarenas and Abbi Ortega. Mascarenas had 11 digs, while Ortega had 13 assists.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Monte Vista, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Trinidad has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against South Park on the 27th. As for Monte Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Creede on the 26th.
