Softball Recap: St. Vincent's Saints vs. Jenkins Warriors
St. Vincent took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (barely). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jenkins Warriors a 1-0 shutout. This was payback for the Saints, who suffered a 13-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
St. Vincent's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ansley Cox, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
