Football Preview: Armstrong River Hawks vs. Franklin Regional Panthers
Armstrong is 0-4 against Franklin Regional since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The River Hawks will be playing at home against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Armstrong is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Penn-Trafford on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The River Hawks were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 42-7. The contest marked the River Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Despite the loss, Armstrong had strong showings from Quinton Olsen, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one TD, and Jaydon Oliver, who threw for 146 yards and one touchdown.
