Baseball Recap: Osborn Triumphs

Osborn came out on top against Southeastern on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Knights took their matchup against the Junagleers 8-5. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Junagleers on Tuesday, they had to take a 11-9 loss.

Osborn let Xavier Coleman and Pierre Parker run wild. Coleman went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Parker went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kae'On Williams, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory got Osborn back to even at 1-1. As for Southeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Southeastern has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Cody on the 7th. Hopefully Osborn paid attention to the Junagleers' contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Junagleers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
