Softball Recap: Red River Falls Short Against Ranked Dickinson

Red River faced Dickinson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Roughriders lost 9-0 to the Midgets. The Roughriders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Midgets from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

Red River has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. As for Dickinson, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Red River will welcome Fargo South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Roughriders are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Dickinson, they will face off against West Fargo at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
