Basketball Recap: Greene County Takes a Loss

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the West Marshall Trojans, falling 64-31. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-21 back in January.

Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for West Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greene County will square off against Southeast Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Marshall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
