Baseball Recap: Tecumseh Wins Going Away Against Chelsea

Tecumseh hadn't done well against Chelsea recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Indians came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 10-7. That three run margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Max Roehrig looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Connor Bullinger, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Bullinger is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremy Bennett, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Tecumseh's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Chelsea, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Tecumseh will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
