The matchup between Poynette and Wautoma on Friday hardly resembled the 14-7 effort from their previous meeting. The Pumas blew past the Hornets 53-15. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-0.

Poynette has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 29 points this season. As for Wautoma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
