Basketball Game Preview: Nocona Indians vs. Petrolia Pirates

The Nocona Indians will challenge the Petrolia Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Nocona is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Windthorst just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 48-37 to the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Petrolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Windthorst.

Nocona's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Petrolia, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Nocona beat Petrolia 60-53 in their previous meeting on January 3rd. Will Nocona repeat their success, or does Petrolia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
