Volleyball Recap: Snow Canyon Comes Up Short

Snow Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pine View Panthers. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.

Nathan Harris paced Snow Canyon's offense, picking up six kills. Harris got some help from John Linden and his 14 assists. Isaac Jaster controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Snow Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Pine View, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Snow Canyon will take on rival Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pine View is set to square off against their familiar foe Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
