Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Porter). They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 64-11 win over the Madison Marlins. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 662nd, while the Marlins are ranked 1446th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Porter's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Madison, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
