Soccer Recap: Mt. Abraham Falls Short Against Ranked Rice Memorial

Mt. Abraham faced Rice Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Green Knights by a score of 2-1. The loss was Mt. Abraham's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mt. Abraham fell to 6-1-1. As for Rice Memorial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mt. Abraham will head out to square off against Bellows Free Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rice Memorial, they will square off against Winooski at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
