Soccer Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Austintown-Fitch Falcons, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, Harding can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 421st, while Austintown-Fitch are ranked 197th).

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Austintown-Fitch, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-7-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Harding is set to take on their familiar foe Canfield at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Austintown-Fitch will face off against rival Boardman at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
