You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Floyd Central's strategy against Trinity Lutheran on Thursday. The Floyd Central Highlanders put the hurt on the Trinity Lutheran Cougars with a sharp 57-33 win. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Trinity Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Madison Keith, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Marley Warren, who had eight points.

Floyd Central pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.8 points. As for Trinity Lutheran, they moved to 11-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
