Soccer Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Gahr Gladiators, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1075th, while the Gladiators are ranked 170th).

Firebaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16-1. As for Gahr, they pushed their record up to 15-3-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home.

Firebaugh will take on Mayfair at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gahr, they will face off against La Mirada at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
