Basketball Recap: Weskan Extends Winning Streak to Six

Northern Valley came into Friday's game looking for another win against Weskan, but Trey Allen wouldn't allow it. The Weskan Coyotes blew past the Northern Valley Huskies 52-23 on Friday thanks in part to Allen, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 boards. His evening made it 26 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Judah Crow was another key player, putting up eight points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

When it comes to explaining why Northern Valley lost, don't look at Gavin Thalheim. Despite the final result, he posted eight points along with ten boards and four steals.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.5 points. As for Northern Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

After both having extra time off, Weskan and St. Francis will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Northern Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-45 loss against Thunder Ridge on the 21st.
