Sevier County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans by a score of 72-59. Given the Smoky Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Trojans are ranked 169th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sevier County's victory bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Morristown-Hamblen West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
