Football Recap: Lutheran West Takes a Loss

Lutheran West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 21-7 fall against the Orange Lions. The Longhorns were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Lutheran West's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Orange, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Lutheran West will venture away from home to take on Harvey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will be up against the Red Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
