Recap: American History Bald Eagles vs. McNair Academic Cougars
The American History Bald Eagles's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 32-20 win over McNair Academic. This was payback for American History, who suffered a 45-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Erica Lawson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashiyah Holliman, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.
American History is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for McNair Academic, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
American History will take on Barringer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. McNair Academic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hoboken at 4:30 p.m. on January 24th.
