Football Game Preview: Morristown-Beard Crimson vs. King Vikings

The Morristown-Beard Crimson will face off against the King Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Morristown-Beard's defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so King's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Morristown-Beard is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Luke's just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 28-7 to the Storm. While losing is never fun, the Crimson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 282nd in New Jersey, while the Storm are ranked 112th in Connecticut).

Meanwhile, King scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They and Hopkins were almost perfectly matched up, but the Vikings suffered a 19-18 defeat.

Morristown-Beard's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
