Baseball Recap: Southeast Comes Up Short

Southeast lost against Central Heights on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lancers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by just one run.

Southeast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colten Jameson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Southeast's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Central Heights, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, Southeast will venture away from home to face off against Crest at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Southeast will need to watch out since Crest has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. Central Heights has already played their next matchup (against Yates Center), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
