After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Albany, South Pontotoc was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Corinth Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Pontotoc took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-9.

South Pontotoc's win bumped their record up to 11-15-2. As for Corinth, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, South Pontotoc will venture away from home to challenge Tishomingo County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corinth, they will welcome Ingomar at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
