Soccer Game Preview: Chapmanville Regional vs. Scott

The Chapmanville Regional Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Scott Skyhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chapmanville Regional is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Chapmanville Regional duked it out with Logan on Monday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 4-1 win. Chapmanville Regional haven't had any issues with Logan recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Chapmanville Regional hit Logan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jonathan Ferrell (2), Jacob Runyon, and Aaden Rodighiero.

Meanwhile, neither Scott nor Sherman could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Chapmanville Regional's win bumped their record up to 12-5-1. With that draw, Scott's record moves to 6-7-3.

Chapmanville Regional came out on top in a nail-biter against Scott when the teams last played back in August, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
