Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Kingman Academy). They were the clear victors by  a  20-3 margin over the Joseph City Wildcats on Saturday. With that  win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.4  runs per game.
 Brayden Russell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (four). He was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. He has become a key player for Kingman Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  stolen bases, but 2-7-1 otherwise.
 In other batting news, Kingman Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Pax McFadyen, who  fired off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 2-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  McFadyen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Hopper, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Kingman Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in three consecutive  contests.
Kingman Academy's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-7-1. As for Joseph City, their loss was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingman Academy will head out to  challenge Mohave Accelerated  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Joseph City, they will take on Holbrook at 2:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
