Hutchison had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-3 to make it ten. They came up short against the Monroe Catholic Rams, falling 20-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-9 two weeks ago.

As for Monroe Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Considering they have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Monroe Catholic's part, Daniel Bergstrom made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Bergstrom a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those stolen bases marked the first that he has snagged this season.
