Indiana high school football rankings: New No. 1 Center Grove caps unbeaten regular season with 17-13 comeback win over Cathedral

There's a new No. 1 team in the Indiana high school football computer rankings thanks to a dandy in the regular-season finale. Center Grove (Greenwood) got a last-second touchdown from Tayven Jackson to Trenton Veith to cap a 17-13 win over No. 2 Cathedral (Indianapolis).

The Trojans finished off a 9-0 regular season, leapfrogged the Fighting Irish and head to the 6A postseason as the top seed with an Oct. 30 game against Columbus North.

Roncalli (Indianapolis) was the week's biggest mover, jumping eight places to No. 8 after a 34-27 win over East Central.

Evansville Central was the lone team to enter this week's rankings after a 35-0 blanking of Evansville North. The Bears climbed six spots to No. 21.
