Volleyball Recap: North East Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Iroquois Braves on Wednesday.

North East walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Iroquois saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paisley Cook had 14 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Cook.

North East's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Iroquois, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North East will host Union City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iroquois, they will take on Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
