Bellevue East won the last time they faced Omaha Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chieftains won by a set and slipped past the Eagles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chieftains have posted against the Eagles since September 9, 2023.

Elizabeth Manning paced Bellevue East's offense, picking up nine kills. Manning got some help from Maci Jensen and her 14 assists. Saniyah Legette controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Omaha Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Presley Vacek had 12 digs and one assist.
