Volleyball Recap: Valley Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Leonardo Lopez Dominguez and Laione Eteaki

Valley saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Campolindo Cougars by a score of 2-1.

Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Laione Eteaki, who had five digs and two blocks, and Leonardo Lopez Dominguez, who had 15 digs and six assists. That's the most assists Lopez Dominguez has posted since back in April of 2024.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Campolindo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Virgin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Campolindo, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Clayton Valley Charter on the 20th.
