Baseball Recap: Randallstown Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Randallstown waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Pikesville Panthers. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by just one run.

Chris Mcleod was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Keith Mcknight also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Randallstown's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Pikesville, they moved to 10-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randallstown will challenge Poly at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Engineers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pikesville, they will square off against Sparrows Point at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
