Volleyball Game Preview: Wando Warriors vs. River Bluff Gators

The Wando Warriors will challenge the River Bluff Gators on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Wando is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Summerville. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now won three in a row.

Wando's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Violet Poole, who had 14 digs and three assists, and Lily Oscarsson, who had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Oscarsson has posted over her last five contests.

Meanwhile, River Bluff faced James Island in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Gators put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win.

Wando's victory bumped their record up to 34-10. As for River Bluff, their win bumped their record up to 31-12.

Wando beat River Bluff 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
