New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy is 0-6 against Northlake Christian since February of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Northlake Christian Wolverines at 6:30 p.m.

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Monday. They lost 14-0 to Fisher.

Meanwhile, Northlake Christian hadn't done well against South Lafourche recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Northlake Christian blew past South Lafourche 7-1.

Eli Shoemake made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colton West, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Stew Covey was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy might still be hurting after the 13-0 loss they got from Northlake Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
