Basketball Game Preview: The Ehrhart School Eagles vs. Community Christian Lions

The Ehrhart School Eagles will square off against the Community Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ehrhart School has given up an average of 59.5 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The Ehrhart School is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 75-56 win over Lighthouse HomeSchool on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 19-point performance the matchup before.

The Ehrhart School's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Acen Gobert, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 24 points and eight rebounds, and Blake Byars, who went 9-for-20 to rack up 21 points and eight steals. Christian Magaleno was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven steals and five boards.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Community Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They snuck past Veritas Classical Academy with a 54-50 victory on Tuesday.

The Ehrhart School's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Community Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
