Basketball Recap: Ballinger Find Success

Ballinger posted their closest victory since January 26th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Miles Bulldogs 36-33. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Ballinger pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Miles, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Ballinger will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winters at 5:15 p.m. on December 31st. As for Miles, they will take on Hico in a tournament on December 28th.
