Basketball Recap: Tyngsborough Comes Up Short

Tyngsborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 72-54 bruising from the Lunenburg Blue Knights. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Blue Knights are ranked 35th).

Tyngsborough's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lunenburg, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Tyngsborough will square off against Lowell Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lunenburg has already played their next game (against Clinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
