Sunlake came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the DME Academy -.

Amelia Snider paced Sunlake's offense, picking up 14 kills. Snider got some help from Sofia Sierra and her 28 assists. Ava Zalta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sunlake's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for DME Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.
