Volleyball Recap: Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Forest Lake Christian Falcons 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-12.

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning can attribute much of their success to Grant LaCosse, who had five aces and four digs. That's the most aces LaCosse has posted since back in March.

LaCosse wasn't the only good server: Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-11. As for Forest Lake Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
