Basketball Game Preview: Walhalla Razorbacks vs. Augusta Christian Lions

The Walhalla Razorbacks and the Augusta Christian Lions will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Walhalla is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.

Walhalla took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 53-42 victory over Chapman.

Kami Roach was her usual excellent self, going 10 of 17 en route to 26 points and six assists. That's the most points she has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Gianna Ortiz-Viera, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Augusta Christian had to suffer through a 57-24 loss at the hands of South Florence. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walhalla's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Augusta Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Walhalla strolled past Augusta Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 59-40. Will Walhalla repeat their success, or does Augusta Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
