Football Recap: Redbank Valley Extends Winning Streak to Three

Redbank Valley had won two straight games and Braylon Wagner did his part to make it three on Friday. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 27-0 win over the Brookville Raiders thanks in part to Wagner, who rushed for 99 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 105 yards on 15 of 25 attempts. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.

One reason for the win was Redbank Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jaxon Huffman, Peyton Kennemuth, and Landon Hornberger, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Redbank Valley's record is now 6-4. As for Brookville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-7.

As of now, neither Redbank Valley nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
