The Pahokee Blue Devils will take on the Vero Beach Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Pahokee's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Forest Hill 40-0. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Samuel Arnold
10/09/25 @ Forest Hill | 123 |
10/03/25 vs Lake Worth | 105 |
09/19/25 @ Palm Beach Gardens | 136 |
Pahokee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samuel Arnold out in front who rushed for 123 yards on only 13 carries. Arnold's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Xavier Mitchell, who threw for 105 yards and one touchdown on only five passes.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pahokee's defense and their 8.5 sacks. Leading the way was Antonio Simpson with 2.5. Ricky Gary was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making five total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defending two passes.
Meanwhile, Vero Beach won against Booker T. Washington last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Indians blew past Rockledge 42-7. With the Indians ahead 28-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Pahokee better keep an eye on Efrem White. He was instrumental in Vero Beach's win, throwing for 244 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 65 yards and one score on only five carries. Xavier Stinson was another key player, picking up 113 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Pahokee's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Vero Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Pahokee has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 246.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Vero Beach struggles in that department as they've been averaging 159.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Pahokee came up short against Vero Beach when the teams last played back in September of 2018, falling 27-20. Thankfully for the Blue Devils, Bryan Primus-Winston (who rushed for 111 yards and a pair of scores) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
