Bethesda-Chevy Chase unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-3 to the Jackson-Reed Tigers on Tuesday.

Will Adkinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Jackson-Reed is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase will face off against Howard at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jackson-Reed, they will head out to take on Avalon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
